A month of art therapy!

Sometimes courses are geared to last a long time. Hours and hours of lectures - ideally spread over a year...of even a lifetime.

This is not one of those courses.

This course is geared to last a month, a month of involvement, reflection, doing art therapy exercises, sharing, considering, then perhaps considering again.

It's a short course - but deliberately so. (If/when you finish it you get free access to any one of my other courses - and one of those is 86 hours long if you're really looking for a LOOOOONG course!)

So - what will you do in those 31 days?

1. Numerous art therapy exercises

2. Look at and discuss blogs

3. Listen to podcasts

4. Share ideas and suggestions

5. Share artwork

6. Ask questions of yourself - and maybe find answers!

7. Find skills you did not know existed

8. Support others and be supported

9. Often find new lectures, workbooks, tasks

10. ENJOY YOURSELF

In the end that is really what this course is about - enjoying yourself - and observing your thoughts, yourself whilst you are doing various pieces of artwork. (No artistic skill needed!)

But what if you don't have 31 consecutive days available?

Ahhh just because this is called 31-days does not mean it will take you a month and you MUST do 31 consecutive days! There is no compulsion in Art Therapy!

The idea is that the course, if done fully, will take you about 31 days to complete this is assuming you spend 30-60 minutes a day. remember that doing an art therapy exercise may only take ten minutes but then you think about what you have created - and why - and then post in the Q/A about it. Others comment...you can see how the time goes by!

Maybe you have a month off work and are not going away? That'd be a good time to start the course! Maybe a few free week-ends or one evening a week - again that would be a good time to start the course.

Plan your study time and approach the course slowly - remember: it is evolving so keep an eye open for new lectures.

Key mantra: Enjoy, share and learn.
