This course has 6 lectures.The first lecture is a revision of all basic tactics, so that you are on track to learn advanced tactics. Each of the remaining lectures cover very important tactics in chess - Windmill, Double Check, Intermezzo, Clearance & Interference.
Windmill makes your opponent swirl and collapse. A Double check makes the king run for cover. Intermezzo is that cool intermediate move we play in the middle of a combination. An intermezzo can be a cruel surprise to your opponent who thinks he/she has calculated everything. Clearance is when you make an unwanted piece move out of the way or a square. Interference interferes with our opponent's pieces and destroy their coordination.
Once you understand these tactics, you will be able to spot such patterns effortlessly in your own games.
