Have you already been editing your videos in DaVinci Resolve? And you want to take your editing to the next level? Then you have come to the right place!
If you are looking for FREE software for video editing, DaVinci Resolve is the best answer! I am using DaVinci Resolve for all of my video projects for clients and on YouTube. Whether it is professional colour grading, implementing transitions or doing sound design; I'm all doing it with this free video editor software!
What will you learn?
In this class, you will be learning advanced video editing techniques in DaVinci Resolve. This will help you to take your basic video editing skills to the next level. I will explain each technique step by step! By the end of the class, you will be confident enough to implement all the video effects and transitions taught in this class.
Things to know beforehand
To follow this class you need a basic knowledge of DaVinci Resolve. You should be familiar with the edit page, you should know the basic node techniques in the colour tab and you should be confident with making a basic video in DaVinci Resolve.
Structure of the class
We start with learning a few easy transitions techniques on the edit page
Then, we will incorporate the edit page and the colour page to make transitions
I will give you a basic introduction to the fusion page
You will learn effects like sky replacement, green screen replacement, attaching texts to the object, & much more!
Who is this class for?
This class is for the video editor who has experience with editing basic videos in DaVinci Resolve, but who wants to learn new techniques to make their video stand out!

Who am I?
My name is Adi and I am living in the Netherlands. Since I got my first camera back in 2015 to capture my travels, I am hooked on videography! Every day I learned something new and eventually, I started my own video production company and YouTube channel! I learned all the ins and outs of videography online or by self-teaching and I would love to share my knowledge with all of you!
PROJECT FOR THE CLASS
Practice makes a (wo)man perfect! Of course, your first video edit with the advanced techniques will not be the best video you will ever make, but the more you practice, the more you will become familiar with the software!
So, let’s start making some epic videos!
Your project
You will be making a short one-minute video with the clips of your choice or the clips given in the source section of this class. I would encourage you to play around with the clips provided in the source files and then try with your own personal clips.
Once that video is done, please share it here and feel free to ask me for my feedback. It doesn't have to be a perfect video. The fact that you are getting it done is already 10 steps ahead of someone who is just thinking about it!
