Approved Provider for PDE Act 48 Hours | Google for Education Partner
This course will take an in-depth look into Google Classroom. Google classroom is used all over the education world to stream assignments, increase collaboration, promote communication, and used as a grading tool. Google Classroom can be used by teachers, students, guardians, and administrators. We will be providing training on Google Classroom at an in-depth level. Topics will include Assessment, Communication, Creativity & Innovation. Differentiation, and Family & Community Engagement. Within those categories we will have subcategories explained, then demonstrated. After each section you will complete a quiz confirming comprehension of those topics. Post completion of these topic will result in training hours being submitted to Pennsylvania's Department of Education's Act 48 hour requirements. Teachers are required to complete 180 hours of Professional Development per every 6 years to maintain their active status. Not all schools provide all 180 hours for Educators. Our hope is to help train teachers on the Google Classroom platform and how to implement them on your own classroom.
Going forward we will be creating Google Certified Educator Levels 1 & 2 training courses to help teachers get trained on exactly what they need to pass their Google Certified Educator Level 1 & 2 certification exams. Those topics will include the entirety of Google Workspace Apps for Education.
