Trippy Collage Compositions in Procreate
In this class, we'll be working our magic to create these Trippy Surrealism Collage posters using Procreate.
I'll share with you some of my poster tips and tricks, and ways to arrange everything and not get lost in the abundance of all the elements.
We will create two poster compositions that are out-of-this-world. We will apply some basic graphic design principles to create a good contrast, colour harmony, and balance of all the elements to create a story in a poster.
The main goal is to play with colors, movement, composition, and cutting images and blend them to create a seamless poster.
In this class I’ll walk you through:
- Where to find high-quality images and photos that are perfect for the project
- My step-by-step how to get started with procreate tools
- We will use selection, transform tools and layer masks to cut images
- We will apply adjustments and effects to get the right colour combination and harmony
Creating a surreal poster is a great way of making something unexpected, mixing different things and a good way to experiment with colours and themes.
This class is for intermediate levels, but if you’re a beginner with some basic knowledge of Procreate, I'm pretty sure you can follow along.
