Forgotten part of the world with Unforgettable history.
The Balkan Peninsula is a region we definitely know very little about. The history of Western Europe is well known, and depicted in many movies, TV series, and the media in general. Obviously their history is extremely rich, and interesting, but we should not forget that the Balkan Peninsula is still a part of Europe, and the historical events there are not less significant.
In a relatively small territory today, we see a lot of countries with extremely dynamic relations between each other. A lot of ancient and medieval events in this small territory influenced directly, and indirectly the history of the world. Did you know, that there was a moment where Europe almost became Muslim, and only one battle changed the war against the Arabs ? And yes, that battle is far more significant, then the Battle of Poitiers. If you are very interested in geography as well we will talk about it. I will explain how much the geography can change history. In addition we will discuss culture, religion, and many other things, and all of this, in a little more then one hour. Let us have a look into a few events of this “forgotten” part of the Old Continent, which changed the course of the global history. We will cover only a few of them, because they are too many.
