From Poor to Excellent

This course will look at how you can (in very practical steps) improve your credit score. This course is not promising an overnight jump in your score, but we believe within 3-6 months you should certainly see an improvement in your credit score. We look at very practical ways in which you can improve your credit score within the UK. The first step is to get hold of your report - which we show you how to do for free, and to then start building upon it.

Your credit score can affect many areas of your life, whether you are aware of it or not. It can affect your ability to rent the home that you want, your ability to apply for a loan or credit card successfully, the interest rate that you're charged if you are accepted for credit and whether or not you can be considered eligible for a mortgage.

Credit scores can range from poor to excellent, but the average score in the UK is actually 788 which is 'fair', so the goal doesn't have to be to have a perfect score. Any score better than the one you currently have, is positive.

We look at how the lenders arrive at your score and the actions that you can do that can positively and detrimentally impact your score. With everything, time heals all wounds, so if you start from today, to have good credit habits, you WILL see this reflected in your credit score over the next few months.

Your course tutor has a BA in Accounting with Marketing and an MSc in Investment Management and has worked with hundreds of SME's over the years and understand the importance of good credit, and the good habits that we can develop to maintain a good score.

We focus on the UK market only, and on improving personal credit scores.
