Algebra and Calculus
Subscribing to this course will lend a helping hand towards your success and comfortability levels when it comes to Calculus. By applying algebraic concepts, trigonometric concepts, and calculus concepts, we can better understand the world around us. Doing this will allow the student to perform more consistently when taking on schoolwork or other assignments while building confidence for test-taking scenarios such as in-class exams, AP exams, or the ACT & SAT. This course's practice exams will allow the student to test and develop their knowledge without the fear of failing an exam and also conduce them to instituting new and positive test-taking strategies that may help them down the line.
My exams consist of 10 questions each. An exam's content is either tailored to a particular topic within Algebra, Trigonometry, or Calculus; or will provide a 'mixed bag' of Calculus-related questions and topics that may require both basic knowledge or applied 'thinking outside of the box' solving abilities. In terms of the types of questions being asked, I tend to create exams that have both multiple-choice sections and free-response sections, in order to provide a similar experience to in-school-style examinations.
I hope to challenge you as a student and person and hopefully change your opinion on Calculus, but more generally Mathematics as a whole.
