In Step 5, you will learn how to use colour, understand the theory and also the meaning of colour.

You will learn how to use colour taking into account the size, aspect , proportion and placement in a room.

You will create a colour palette as a tool of reference for your project to develop a scheme.

In Step 6, you will learn how to select the right material for its function, practicality and aesthetics.

You will then specify finishes appropriate for its use on wall and floor surfaces.

You will also learn how to enhance a space by the layout and mix of your materials.

You will be creating a palette of finishes to work in harmony with your vision board and colour palette already in existence.

In Step 7, you will learn how to develop a textile palette for your scheme.

You will be guided on how to select and place fabrics on furniture and choose the appropriate fabric for window treatment.

You will learn how to source for fabrics, collate and how create a Sample Board.

At the end of this Module will have a Colour Palette, Finishes Palette and Soft Furnishings Palette as tools of reference.
