A mini-course on Nadi Shodana

If you want to sharpen your focus, improve your concentration, balance body and mind and develop one-pointedness, you should think about learning about Nadi Shodana.

With Nadi Shodana we cleanse our Nadis. Nadis are energy-channels transporting our Prana, the life-energy. There are thousands of Nadis pervading our body, reaching each organ, each muscle, each string etc. to nourish these parts with energy. Shodana means to clean. So Nadi Shodana lierally means to clean the energy-channels.

In Nadi Shodana we focus on the main Nadis called Ida and Pingala. Those Nadis represent opposite sides: Pingala is the warmth and energy, the masculine side. Ida stands for the feminine, the colling effect and strength. Ida and Pingala start from the nostrils and go down on the left and right side of your backbone to the lower dan-tien, which is one of the energetic centers.

Nadi Shodana sharpens your focus, brings back and supports your mental and physical balance and calms you down, resulting in one-pointedness.

In this course you learn three variations of Nadi Shodana. There's a lesson for each of the variations, explaining what each excercise stands for and how it will support you on a physical and mental level. The last lesson shows you how these three variations of Nadi Shodana work together and you will experience a positive effect right away.
