The new and exciting nature and wildlife eLearning course for kids that is taking the world by storm.
Junior Safari Academy was established in 2020 during the lockdown period in South-Africa. Hence the Safari 101 course was born - getting learners, teachers and parents excited of this new way of learning.
This course was created by Francois Fourie and Gawie Grobler. Both of which are Professional Field Guides (Qualified with the Field Guides Association of Southern-Africa) and together have 29 years’ experience in nature, wildlife and Eco-Tourism and both are still active in the industry through the Management of guiding teams and Training of Professional Field Guides. Furthermore, they have teamed up with eLearning specialists to create a professional yet fun, interactive, easy to use online course for kids.
The initiative behind this academy is to educate kids on nature and wildlife in a fun, visual and safe way because we saw the need for kids to be made more aware about nature and wildlife. We understand that a course like this needs to be educational – and from our perspective it is crucial to teach kids about nature from a young age as they will one day be the ones to protect and preserve our beautiful natural environment. With our background and expertise, we decided to develop the Safari 101 program for kids ages 5-14. The Safari 101 course is only the start of many more to come.
These courses cover the following:
Mammals, Reptiles, Birds, Arthropods, Plants, Astronomy, Animal Tracks and National Parks.
Educating the youth on Nature and Africa's Wildlife is key to protecting these incredible animals and large stretches of Land.
The Safari Academy was created by Professional Field Guides, with a combined 30 years experience, looking to impart knowledge onto the youth so they can understand the importance of Nature.
