In this course I will show you step by step how to do that and at the same time you will learn how to improve your Sketch Up level at the same time. You usually learn the fastest if you are going to do a project for yourself and just get started. So the class project is to recreate modern contemporary furniture and I will guide you through the process of making a high quality design.
First we will find references such as images and we will import them and bring them to real life size. Then we will model using only standard tools. I like to keep things simple. After that you choose which materials you want to use, If needed we will create our own materials.
Each and every case study is design to teach the student a different technique and a creative use of the standard Sketch Up tools.
At the end of the course the student will be well prepared to face any furniture design challenge.
