Students will learn how to see through the objects in 3-dimensional form and draw on paper. The course takes you from the basics of drawing to drawing complex objects step by step. You should practice with the instructor. The course gives you a foundational understanding and techniques to draw. You need to apply those to various objects around you.
We will start with lines and planes. We will practice those and move to understand how to divide the plane in half and duplicate the same in multiples. We will go through the basics of one point and two-point perspectives. We will move from 2-dimension to 3-dimension with an understanding of the box. We will practice earlier techniques with the box, construct and experiment with it.
We will also look at the curves and ovals. We will learn how to rotate a plane in space. You also need to know how symmetric shapes behave in perspective. So we will learn how to mirror the points and shapes.
All course videos are hands-on drawings where the instructor takes you through various techniques and exercises in simple and easy to understand demonstrations. These techniques can be applied to draw action figures, still life, botanical drawings, scenery, urban sketches and many more.
