Dozens of Tips for Creating Great Blog Posts, Articles, eBooks and Videos are provided in this course

This is just some of what you will learn in this course on Content Writing

Have you been feeling a little stuck? Do you feel like you are in a creative slump lately? If so, what you may be missing is the right type of inspiration. It is easy to be motivated by deadlines and finances, but this doesn’t really work when it comes to your creativity, whether you use it for hobbies, art, your daily life, writing, or even in your job. Here are some unexpected ways you can find inspiration.

Get Writing

Start writing absolutely everything down. Try the stream of consciousness form of journaling where you just write whatever comes to mind. Write good idea and bad ideas, write fiction or poems, write detailed to-do lists, and write what you did today. Write about your goals and dreams, write about your strengths and weaknesses. Write about your accomplishments and failures. This is a really effective way at learning more about yourself and understanding where and how you got stuck, and why you ended up in a creative rut.

Read Something New

Always keep reading and learning! Reading provides some amazing benefits when you feel stuck and uninspired. The trick here is not to just stay in your own reading comfort zone. Find a different genre, a new author, something you never thought you would be interested in. Go to a completely different section of the library or book store, pick up something at random, and just start reading.

Find New Surroundings

If you do the same thing every day and always see the same thing, it can be really hard to find inspiration. Go outside, find a new place to explore, and change your surroundings. This alone can be amazing for getting inspired, and getting some brand new ideas.

Reduce Your Distractions

You may also be dealing with a creative slump due to all the distractions in your life. Start reducing them if you feel they are causing creative blocks, from things and situations, to people.

Practice Self-Care

Do you know why self-care has been a trending topic lately? Because of how important it is! You NEED to take care of yourself, aside from what your other work and personal responsibilities are. You are not just a mother or father, friend, neighbor, executive or co-worker. You are a human being that has needs you need to take care of yourself, including your physical, mental, and emotional health. Practicing self-care can help you relax and really help a lot with gaining more clarity.
